Frequently Asked Questions

Will counselling help me?

I believe counselling can offer a guiding light and support in tough periods of life. Also, coming to counselling may be what helps you to identify what might need to change in your life, relationships or in your patterns of behaviour.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends. We can discuss this when we meet, and will review it regularly.

I am from the LGBTQIA+ community / I am GSDR or polyam+

I am experienced in working with clients from this community and would welcome the opportunity to work with you.

What if I don’t really know what’s wrong?

We don’t always know exactly what is causing us to feel anxious, worried, frustrated, angry or sad. And it’s not always straightforward to share our struggles with family or friends. Reaching out for help at this point is enough to start exploring with a trained professional.

How much do sessions cost?

The fee per session is £70

Do you offer counselling in Elgin?

Yes, I see clients face to face in Elgin. Currently both locations I use are accessible. I also offer online or phone sessions.

Can I follow you on social media?

I have both Instagram and Facebook accounts where I share resources and information. You can find me using the buttons below.

Book a call

I offer a 15 minute phone or video call so we can meet and see if we would be a good fit for working together. This call helps me to identify what support for you would look like. It gives you a chance to have a chat with me and ask any questions you may have about counselling and how I work.

Clients have reported that having the opportunity to meet for a no-obligation chat first helped to ease some anxiety about embarking on the counselling journey. Book here.
